How to use this checklist
This is the working checklist Maison BPS uses for visits inside Battersea Power Station apartments. Residents can use it as a reference for what to expect, what is included in a standard housekeeping visit versus a deep clean, and which add-ons to request when booking.
Standard housekeeping — kitchen
- Worktops wiped and sanitised
- Hob, splashback and extractor exterior wiped
- Sink rinsed and polished
- Cabinet fronts spot-cleaned
- Floor swept and mopped
- Bin emptied and replaced
- Visible appliance exteriors wiped
Standard housekeeping — bathrooms
- Basin, toilet, shower and bath cleaned and sanitised
- Mirrors and chrome polished
- Tiles wiped
- Floor washed
- Bin emptied
- Towels folded or replaced (linens you provide)
Standard housekeeping — bedrooms
- Beds made with linens you provide
- Surfaces dusted
- Floors vacuumed or mopped
- Mirrors wiped
- Bin emptied
Standard housekeeping — living and hallways
- Surfaces and shelves dusted
- Sofa cushions reset, throws folded
- Floors vacuumed and mopped
- High-touch surfaces (handles, switches) wiped
- Visible glass spot-cleaned
Deep clean — extras on top of the standard checklist
Kitchen
- Hob and splashback descaled
- Sink fully descaled, taps polished
- Cabinet fronts cleaned in full
- Behind and under accessible items reached
- Skirting wiped
Bathrooms
- Grout detailed
- Shower screens descaled inside and out
- Taps and fittings descaled
- Extractor fan exteriors wiped
Whole apartment
- Skirting and architraves wiped
- Switches and sockets wiped
- Internal glass on request
- Doors and door frames cleaned
- High dusting on accessible heights
Add-ons to request at booking
- Interior oven care — £15

- Cleaning products and equipment, unless the supplied-products add-on is selected

- Maintenance and repairs
- Personal laundry off-site (members can arrange separately)
A note on finishes
Battersea Power Station apartments use a mix of stone, hardwood and high-end metal finishes. Maison BPS uses products and methods appropriate to these surfaces. If you have a specific product you prefer (for example for a marble worktop), leave it out with a note and the team will use it.
